Master\s Degree Programme in Computer Science
Computer Science is a very broad area of science spanning from the theory of computing, through programming, to cutting-edge development of computing solutions for large distributed systems, and to novel computing paradigms such as nano-, bio- and quantum-computing. This study programme offers a solid foundation enabling graduates to adapt quickly to new ideas and technologies. The program is designed to have a strong multidisciplinary profile, allowing the students to combine advanced studies in complex software systems, software theory, high-performance computing, or computational systems biology with studies in software engineering, information systems, statistics, or biosciences. The program also provides the background for doctoral research in computer science. A Master of Science degree in Computer Science is awarded to students upon successful completion of this two-year full-time programme.
