epEBench: True Energy Benchmark

Simon Holmbacka, Robert Müller, epEBench: True Energy Benchmark. In: Magnus Jahre, Magnus Själander (Eds.), Ninth Nordic Workshop on Multi-Core Computing, 1 – 4, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, 2016.

Abstract:

This paper presents epEBench - a multi-core benchmark specifically designed for evaluating energy efficiency.
It supports workload modeling and workload level modification to generate realistic case studies not earlier supported by benchmark tools.
We show how the workload of two real-world application has been extracted and used as a model input to epEBench.
