Abstract:

The paper examines the challenges associated with the wide definition of the concept of information technology (IT) services. It shows how deeply IS research and IS practice are related to services. In addition to reviewing the theoretical background on appropriate subjects of services, the paper proposes a perspective based constructive framework for IT services. Altogether the paper provides an overview of the potential IT service’s dimensions and gives a detailed description about its value creation process.
