Abstract:
In this paper we discuss the differences between using System models and Test Models with respect to the model-based testing process. Although, these two terms are used interchangeably, however, very little is known about distinction of the two. We will discuss how the two types of models are obtained and used throughout the model-based testing process and how they are related to each other. We will use two model-based testing case studies from telecommunication domain for this purpose.
