A Dependability-Oriented Language for Dimensional-NoCs
Luigia Petre, Kaisa Sere, Leonidas Tsiopoulos, A Dependability-Oriented Language for Dimensional-NoCs. In: Nordic Workshop and Doctoral Symposium on Dependability and Security - NODES 2008 Proceedings, 73-80, Department of Computer Science, Tallinn University of Technology, 2008.
Abstract:
In this manuscript we propose a language for specifying applications to be run on Network-On-Chips (NoC). We argue that this language can provide some dependability measures regarding the reliability and efficiency of an application when this is mapped onto a two-dimensional versus a three-dimensional NoC. Our work is based on a previously developed middleware language that extends the action systems formalism dedicated to the modeling and analysis of distributed systems.
