Timo Rantala, Arho Suominen, Aulis Tuominen, What is the Productization?. In: Ran Liu, Zhijun Qiu, Aulis Tuominen, Sami Hyrynsalmi (Eds.), Proceedings of NEXT 2009 - The Sixth International New Exploratory Technologies Conference, 184--193, University of Turku, 2009.
Abstract:
There are several definitions for the term “productization”, but none of them is widely accepted. In some instances, the term is used in a questionable form to demonstrate something already well defined by the scientific community. We will evaluate the current state, define current understanding and clarify the definition of the term productization. In addition, this study tries to find the reasons and benefits of the productization process.
