SystemC Simulation Framework of Protocol Processing Architectures for IPv6 Routing
Dragos Truscan, Seppo Virtanen, Johan Lilius, SystemC Simulation Framework of Protocol Processing Architectures for IPv6 Routing. In: The International Symposium on Signals, Circuits and Systems SCS 2003, 309-312, 2003.
Abstract:
In this paper we present our use of SystemC to simulate IPv6
router architectures on a TTA based protocol processor. The
approach makes it easy to verify the correct functionality and to
identify performance bottlenecks of the architecture within a
short time frame. All this is done prior to proceeding to
synthesize the processor into hardware.
