Compatible Extensions and Consistent Rationalizability: A Fuzzy Approach
Irina Georgescu, Compatible Extensions and Consistent Rationalizability: A Fuzzy Approach. TUCS Technical Reports 881, Turku Centre for Computer Science, 2008.
Abstract:
In the framework of the fuzzy set theory based on a continuous
t--norm $\ast$ we introduce the notions of $\star$--compatible
extension and $\ast$--consistent fuzzy relation. We prove an
extension theorem for fuzzy relations generalizing a significant
part of Duggan's extension theorem.
The notion of consistent closure (Bossert, Sprumont, Suzumura) is
extended to fuzzy relations. This allows us to formulate the Fuzzy
Consistent--Closure Condition ($FCCC$) and to prove that $FCCC$
characterizes the fuzzy consistent rationalizability.
