Acyclic Rationality Indicators of Fuzzy Choice Functions

Irina Georgescu, Acyclic Rationality Indicators of Fuzzy Choice Functions. TUCS Technical Reports 897, Turku Centre for Computer Science, 2008.

Abstract:

We introduce the degree of acyclicity $Ac(Q)$ of a fuzzy preference
relation $Q$ and the acyclic rationality indicators $AcRat_G(C)$ and
$AcRat_M(C)$ of a fuzzy choice function $C$. These two indicators
measure the degree to which the choice function $C$ is acyclic
$G$--rational, respectively acyclic $M$--rational. The main result
of the paper expresses $AcRat_G(C)$ as the minimum of the indicator
of $\alpha$--consistency $F\alpha(C)$ and the indicator $FCond(C)$
associated to the Fuzzy Condorcet property.
