Learning Outcomes:
The course is about scheduling algorithms. The main goal of this course is to give students acquaintance with classical results in scheduling theory. The attendant goal of the course is to give students experience in applying obtained theoretical knowledge to practical problems.
Content:
This course gives a short introduction into the subject area, classification of scheduling algorithms and state-of-the-art methods for solving single machine, parallel machine and shop scheduling problems.
