Learning outcomes:
After this course the students will understand core processes in technological systems and technologies relationship to societal change. After the course, students should have an understanding innovation systems, technological innovations systems, the relationship between technological development and societal change. The course will also give an strategic level view on managing technological change in companies and how foresight and impact assessment can be used to control uncertainties related to future development.

Contents:
The course will go through theoretical foundations of 1) the nature of technology, 2) innovations systems, 3) technology delivery systems, 4) technology foresight process, and 5) impact assessment.
